Manu Roma (Barcelona, 1997) is a director and screenwriter graduated in Audiovisual Media at the Pompeu Fabra University and in ESCAC’s Film Directing Master. In 2020, he directed the pilot of the fiction project Cercanías, selected for the Catalonian Audiovisual Pitching and for the Fire!! Pro Lab. In 2021, he premiered his first documentary short film (Ánonimo), which premiered at the DocsBarcelona festival. He then directed three fiction short films: Huesos (2021), Los vírgenes (2022), and Cor Petit (2023), where he explores a personal perspective through a queer representation.
He’s developing his first feature film, Todas las noches, project selected on the ICAA funds for screenwriting.
